Keaton Joseph Schlepp was born at 6:26 p.m. on January 24, 2014 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings. He weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and measured 21 inches. The lucky little guy shares his middle name with his Grandpa Ray and I'm sure he's looking down on us and proud as can be because he is one amazing little man!
Meeting his Uncle Ty! He's a natural so he might as well get one of his own.
...And Grandma Patti
Home from the hospital and all settled in
Squishy face
Doing some leg lifts
When we got home we had a whole bundle of balloons and goodies waiting for us.
This balloon and flowers were from all my bank peeps. Those guys are way too good to me.
Grandma back for a visit once we were home.
Big eyes!
So tired I can't even hold my plug in.
First bath at home
Tummy time
Big yawn
Mommy and me working out on my home gym.
Life is good. Doesn't get much better than an afternoon nap.
Our first conversation about why he's wearing that Bobcat outfit. (Thanks Jackie Bushman)
Keaton meeting his third cousin Brynn.
Grandma Stacy came for a visit.
Keaton and Jack Nelson meeting for the time. Their birthdays are only five days apart.
Bret came to meet Keaton and was ready to tell him the Metrodome story but then decided to save it for another time. We lined him up to babysit this summer so maybe Keaton will be ready for it by then.
Hanging at home with the little man. My leave is already half over so I really need to take advantage of these last 6 weeks.
"Brian must you!"
Keaton's Great, Great Aunt Joyce surprised us with a visit because she happened to have a flight out of Billings so she got to stop and snuggle for a few hours.
So I saw a think on pinterest where you take a picture each month with a stuffed animal to see how baby grows. This is Keaton's puppy he got from cousin Jana so we'll see how big he gets in comparison each month. This is him at one month old.
Dad and Keaton snoozing. This is a regular occurrence at our house.
Cuddling with Mom
Chillin with Dad
First attempt at holding the rattle
Had it for a second
And there it goes
Milk Coma
Mom's turn for a nap
Baby plank on Dad
Clyde and Grant stopped by to say hi. Clyde made himself right at home.
Trying out some of the wraps and carriers Tori sent. This Moby wrap is a little confusing but he really seemed to like it so I need to practice so I get the hang of it and can tote him around.
Reading his first picture book. Never too early to start.
A little more cuddle time.
I put a lot of pics up this time because I've been slacking so much. I'll try to keep up on the blog now that my computer is up and running again. We're so lucky to have this happy, healthy little guy in our lives. We're enjoying each day we have with him until we have to go back to work and can't wait to see what the future holds. Keaton you're the best thing that's happened to us and we love you so much!
