2012 was a big year for us with some big changes happening in our lives. In May I sold my condo in Bozeman which was a sad day, because it was the first big kid thing I'd done on my own. I lived in it for 5 years and it was a fabulous first home. I get a little sad every time I drive by and wonder about the people living there now. With the sale of my condo, came a big move for Brian and I. We packed up our stuff and headed to Billings after having lived in Bozeman for 12 years. I can't believe how fast that time in my life went. It was an amazing place to spend that last 12 years and even as I write this I get a little teary eyed thinking about it. We left some amazing friends over there and it was a hard transition for me at first. We were couch surfing for a while and I was having a hard time adjusting without my own things and space. Don't get me wrong, Sara, Ty and Nikki were amazing hosts but I was ready to have my own place again. Then on a Sunday after a fantastic wedding we'd attended in Chester we made the trek back bright and early so we could hit some open houses. Even though we weren't really up for it, we charged on knowing that we needed to go house hunting if we were ever going to find what we were looking for. Low and behold that was the day we found a fabulous house that I can see us spending the rest of our lives in. On November 5, 2012 we became the proud owners of a fatanstic "little" house on Audubon Way. We are finally settling in and making it our own and couldn't be happier. Billings is becoming the "new Bozeman" as our good friend BJ would say and slowly it's becoming home to us. We have some great friends that we've reunited with and many that we have yet to get in touch with but hope to soon. I'm always going to have a little piece of Bozeman in my heart but Billings is really starting to grow on me.
Cute little walkway
Kitchen could use come work but it'll do for now. It does have double ovens so I can get my Martha Stuart on.
This bad boy will keeping us toasty as soon and Brian sweeps the chimney.
This deck wraps all the way around a full side of the house and is going to be great in the summer months to come.
Might not be the Bridgers but the Rims have a little charm of their own.
Another view of that deck...definitely one of the selling points for us.
Home Sweet Home
